My life follows a simple cycle: I enjoy traveling and seeing new things that inspire me. I use that inspiration to fuel my art and do my work. And I work to eat and travel to places with great food.
I believe that even the necessities in life should be enjoyed to the fullest, whether it is food, shelter, or just being alive. The things that keep me alive are great experiences, positive relationships with good people, and the art and media that surround my life.
I attend conventions and events for today’s entertainment media: film, animation, games, and comics. I like experiencing firsthand the advances in modern art, design and technology, and I love meeting new people to help keep my mind open and aware.
Born and raised in Oakland, I can mingle anywhere and have fun wherever I go. While I love to travel and see the world, I never forget my roots and culture. Being exposed to classic art from different cultures reminds me to respect and appreciate the diversity of our respective pasts. I feel it is important to explore the world in every way, whether it is by taking a trip across the ocean or digging around in the backyard.
I’m silly. I enjoy terrible puns and “equal-opportunity” humor. I love to laugh. A whole lot! I enjoy trying and exploring new things and putting myself out of my comfort zone to keep an open mind. I like to keep myself on my toes.
Above all, I try to remind myself that I will stay hungry and humble, to always strive to be better than who I was yesterday, and to love who I am today.
